Just relaxing and drinking me a beer and scrolling through the rant and political board. If you have a favorite brand beer give a reason on why you prefer this brand of beer.

I actually meant to tell OK Roughneck this the other day, but I think my current favorite non-local brewery is Prairie out of Oklahoma City.
Had one of their kiwi styles last weekend for the first time.
They have another that’s basically got Skittles in it. Just really unusual one-off stuff, incredibly complex and well done.
I’m in Alabama so there are a ton of local options around here, and we also get decent distribution from places like Asheville and surrounding states.
I can talk about this for pages, but aren’t sure how weird you want to get with it.

My favorite beer is Hissy Fit, a Marzen lager brewed by the Bitter Sisters Brewery in Addison, Texas.

Neither have I. I went to their website and was not too impressed with their beer menu. While looking at their location on a map, I see only a block away another brewery, Skydance Brewing. I like their selection of beer and their facilities look more impressive. I'll be in OKC in a few weeks and might check out Skydance.

The only places I have been in OKC in the last 10 years are down in Bricktown. Tapworks was one and Coyote Ugly was the other.

Prairie is now owned by Krebs brewing company, creators of the Choc brand of beers. They've always been closely affiliated with Krebs, but at some point the larger operation absorbed the smaller one. I've never had a bad beer put out by Prairie, but the price point is tough to swallow.

Mexican lagers are my favorite so Modelo is number one for big brand beer. Local has to be Good People’s Muchacho

Miller Lite
I do also switch to a Bud Zero non alcoholic beer in between Millers to lower my alcohol intake, especially when doing things outdoors
Sorry, the Bud Zero is the only 0% I've ever found that didn't gross me out
I've got some Guinness Stout sitting in the fridge

Well played.
My favorite beer is el cheapo Milwaukee Best Ice, but only in the 32 oz. cans. For whatever reason when I try it in a 12 oz it tastes very metallic.
I've tried expensive beers and I know some folks love them. More power to them but by and large they either taste foul or taste like regular beer... only three times more expensive.

I've never had bud zero to be honest I didn't even know they made a non alcoholic bud light beer. I did have a non alcoholic blue moon beer once which I thought tasted good.

Craft whiskey... well back that arse on up. Craft beer, I'll pass. But more power to those that like it.

Prairie had a pub near Cane's in Tulsa. We stopped in after a show. The beer is damn good but it's also pricey, as you say, and high abv. I don't remember walking to the room.

That sounds about right.
I find that most people, if they've heard of and drank a Prairie Artisan Ales* beer it was their Prairie Bomb. That's a good beer, but again, asking people to spend premium six-pack price kinda money on a single 10oz bottle (I think this one is a 10oz, it's not standard that's for sure), is too much and it's hard to grow a following that way.
That was years ago though, now they have a wider selection of more accessible beers (both in style and affordability) and they're more popular as a result. It also probably didn't hurt to get bought out by Krebs brewing either.
*ETA: I kinda hate the name, always have, when I hear that I just see a Subaru covered in bumper stickers and it makes me itchy.
