He pushed to get a guy to transfer? Sounds normal in todays new landscape…
You aren't allowed to contact a player until they are in the portal.
All Saban is saying is they hoped he would enter the portal so they could recruit him, but he never did.

But that’s not what he said at all. He said he was their #1 target and they tried to get him to hop in the portal but he never did.
