Well, McConkey was a great WR, but I don't think I would call him a 'generational type' talent. We have some pretty talented WRs on this team.
Bennett was great and has firmly established himself as a UGA legend, but gees dude....in Beck's FIRST season as a starter he threw for nearly 4000 yds, 24 TDs to just 6 Ints. Any reason to think he won't improve on even those gaudy numbers in year two?
Bowers WAS a generational talent, and he'll be hard to replace, but he missed a few games this season with surgery and we didn't miss a beat. We have some former HS All-American TEs waiting in the wings. Delp filled in for him admirally.
So, in summary...I think we're gonna make another run at the natty.

According to Kirby, the Georgia WR room has currently passed the expectations he had coming out of spring ball.
But one of the players recently told me that the running game will be the bread and butter of the 2024 offense. Physicality is the priority.
