I no longer plan my falls around football.
If it’s raining, I’ll watch. Night games, I’ll watch.
I use to build every Saturday around it, but now I start with my tee time.
Gus broke me with inside zone 30 times in a row, but now I’m just not as interested in sitting and watching something I have no control over when I could be actively doing something where notionally I have some input like golf.
I still enjoy watching a game, but I don’t need it.

pretty much me now. i do have tickets, and give about half the games away to kids or friends. i choose which games i want to go to. i'll golf in the fall mid morning, and watch whatever when i get home. but the days of planning around a game (unless of course i'm going), are long gone. used to love watching any big SEC matchup.
