I'm nearing 70. Before his death at 90+ yo, my great uncle who was born in 1870 passed on the stories he heard as a child about the farm being burned, his cousin (or aunt?) being raped and another woman in the family burning to death at Oceola. A couple of the relatives sought revenge with Quantrill when he burned Lawrence. What we have isn't a good natured or healthy rivalry. We could have a 20 gap in playing the despised beakers and the hatred would still burn.
