Bama hired and retained Coach Saban for nearly 2 decades, the ROI is immeasurable. These astronomical coaching salaries are paid to grown men who've proven themselves to some degree in their profession.

Some high school kids rated by random recruiting services as a 5* are rumored to be pulling +$1million in NIL at some positions before they've even logged any meaningful playing time.
