I’m honestly shocked that LSU has a longer rut than the one they experienced in the early ‘90s.

And I’m equally shocked that Tennessee’s worst rut was not one that included Dooley and the other string of coaches they went through post-Fulmer

DiNardo had a three year stretch from 95-97 where things were looking up, including 3 bowl wins, an upset of #1 Florida, and a 10 win season, then things fell apart again.

Otherwise the rest of the 90’s were abysmal.

The stretch from 1974-82 wasn’t as bad. It was a slow fall into mediocrity. A bunch of 7 or 8 win seasons, and were ranked at some point most seasons, just didn’t finish the season ranked.
