UGA had 23 players sit out the Orange Bowl. Maybe some others opted out I'm not remembering.
Oddly, they weren't guys who'll go in the draft though. The only one who did that was Brock Bowers (though officially he sat due to injury). Most of UGA's guys who're going to be drafted high played. Those 22 players were guys who entered the transfer portal. That did include some contributors like Jamon Dumas-Johnson.

Counterpoint: there is no combination of 50 UGA (or Alabama) scholarship players that would lose 63-3 to anyone.

That's the team FSU put out there. If their program and players have such little respect for their school, it's a reflection of the team and their own damn fault. The 2023 FSU team got demolished in the bowl game, period.
You can accept that shitty standard if you want to, but I'm calling it bullshite.
No different than the games where Alabama players didn't want to be there. Probably true, but they still lost, doesn't fricking matter why. Still taking that fricking L.
