quote:NAIA wins with NAIA players against NAIA players. Coaching translates across the levels. He didn't have d1 players on his team and NAIA on the others. He took his NAIA players and coached them up to beat the other ones, 3 championships worth. At Washington he took sub top 25 D1 talent and coached them to the championship game, and now he has a roster that's as good as any out there talent wise, so we will see what he can do. I realize you guys are all butthurt, but DeBoer has proven he's an excellent coach and had made every team at every level he's coached better, especially in offense. A-day was vanilla but even there we showed more looks and creativity than either of the last 2 OCs had at any point in their tenure. No more predictable Alabama offense, we are going to be hard to stop.
Mostly NAIA wins there. For reference, UGA had the 22/23 NAIA player of the year on our basketball roster this year.
