Congrats! JJ didn’t even recruit most of that team. He got lucky and won the lottery with Skenes and added him to a team that was already talented, that was put together by a HOF coach. Kinda like Coach O did with adding Joe Burrow to a talented teams

Nah I don’t think so. Y’all was ranked #2 in the country and was actually one of the pre season favorites to win the SEC, and make it to Omaha. Just admit that JJ isn’t as good as Vitello.

2022 UT team won 57 games, and lost 12 players off that team, 10 to the draft.
2023 UT makes it to Omaha.

Just because you lost a few guys don’t mean you still can’t compete if your coach knows how to recruit and put together a team for sustainment. Remember, your LSU? This is one of the worst LSU team I have ever seen. PM and Skips worst teams where better than this one.

Even after all those titles, LSU still managed to be competitive in games. Last time LSU didn’t win at least 12 or more SEC games was 1983 when they went 9-12. Even Smoke Laval won the west twice in 4 years, and finished with a final ranking in the top 10, 2 of those 4 years, and finished all 4 in the national rankings. I never thought I would see an LSU fan claim a “rebuild” in baseball.
