So they ran west. But they still remember that. All of them. Most people that live around Kansas City have no idea it ever happened. But the Mormon church does have plans to take that camp back when the time is right.

Mormons believe the "New Jerusalem" will be built in Missouri. They also believe the Garden of Eden was in Missouri. (All taught by Joseph Smith)
