To the checkers players, the point is valid. UK donors are playing the 3-D chess game Overpaying Pope for a few years is a slow play for the next coach that will be the one they want. Just look at Billy Clyde hire, got the fans expectations lower so easier to hire Cal next. Few extra million a year and the top tier keep you on the radar.
