As I posted elsewhere, this is another ramification of NIL. Mega donors now have greater leverage on coaching changes. No NIL money is a death sentence for a college coach...and he who pays the piper calls the tune.

and how many years was left on his contract? again seems like his success was deterred by the AD and fanbase who have their delusional heads in the clouds.
