I guess when the refs call a square game it crimps his style.

I haven’t watched much basketball this year(thanks Muss) but I was surprised they were letting him get away with the elbow hooks

He had 37 points and 3 fouls called

Seemed like a typical Edey performance, it just wasn’t near enough

No what happened was UCONN ran his arse into the floor. He was spent with 15 mins left in the game.

UConn was just better. Everybody knew it. UConn winning the title has been a formality for a month now.

I shouldn’t be this way but I was happy Purdue lost mainly for the fact of Edey’s style of play. Honestly it is a terrible product of basketball too.

The refs didn’t know how to officiate him most of the season. There is no way should he be shooting the amount of FTs that he did. Seemed like they were in the double bonus midway through a half and the games were damn near unwatchable

Don't blame him. Only 3 more years of eligibility left.

That shite where he cradles the ball and just swings his elbows until they call a defensive foul is absurd.

You could tell the fairy tale was over last night at the start of the second half when they actually called a foul on him, then on the ensuing trip down the floor he misses a shot and immediately looks around at the refs, who didn't bail him out.

It was all downhill from there until UConn just started moving out of the way and letting him score late, i.e. trading baskets and running the clock.
