Agreed. 15 years is a long time to be at any school. Frankly we've heard all his stories etc. It certainly felt like he got complacent. Now he can make all new enemies in the Fayetteville media market

Kind of like Roy Williams. He spent 15 years at Kansas and never closed the deal. Got the gig at UNC and won a title in his second season.

Obviously, there was no social media when he left in 2003, but you’d have to imagine Kansas fans felt like he was their Mark Richt of always being the bridesmaid and never being the bride. I’d imagine their fans were wearing a bit thin.

A tad different in that Roy's last 2 Kansas teams went 63-12 and went to the Final Four and then lost in the National title game. And Roy was going home to his alma mater.

But sometimes guys do need a fresh start.
