Bruce has a losing record to Oats and aside from 2019 he hasn’t done shite in the NCAA tournament while at Auburn

You are right about that. I mentioned when he went to AU that Georgia better be looking to step up their game too, but they didn't .

Nonsense.

ETA: Seriously, this is the order of Bama basketball coaches since 1968:

CM Newton
Wimp Sanderson
David Hobbs
Mark Gottfried
Anthony Grant
Avery Johnson
Nate Oats

Which part of that do you view as Bama not "taking basketball serious?" We had two coaches who didn't quite live up to expectations (Grant and Avery), but I doubt anyone thought Grant was a bad hire at the time. Avery was a gamble but you don't hire a former NBA coach if you aren't taking it seriously.

Bama is the third winningest program in the SEC and perennially has an average attendance near the top. What exactly did Bama start doing differently after Auburn got Pearl?

ETA: In 2009 Bama fired the coach who got them further in the tournament than anyone had, until this year.
