My fraternity wasn’t very big and we were kind of the fraternity of mismatch toys. I had plenty of friends from high school that I didn’t need to be in a fraternity. But I did it to get out of my comfort zone and to network. Too many cliques in the fraternity and I wasn’t in any of them.

So in actuality you recognize that if you had been in a “better” fraternity, you probably would have had a much better experience? Sounds like a pretty dumb reason to keep your son from having a chance to experience it if that’s something he wants.

But maybe that’s just me
