Word of advice… have your kid, who seems very intelligent and wonderful, go into Engineering or Architectural/Engineering.
Architects are a dying breed, as the big germs such as Gensler HOK and others operate like real estate firms. There are one or two at the top and the rest are interior designers. Plus all of them are on the AI push. Engineers will always be needed and are way more valuable.
