I don’t believe that. My neighbors son didn’t get into UGA or Bama. He was told there was little chance of qualifying but he applied anyway. AU welcomed him and his average scholastic record. He graduated from AU three years ago.

Well, I can't tell you the acceptance rate at Auburn from 7 or 8 years ago. I can only share what it's been like the last couple of years with my kid college hunting.

From an SEC standpoint she applied and received scholarships from LSU Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Alabama - she was accepted into Auburn but did not receive a scholarship - and this was a HS student with a 4.4 GPA and 30+ on her ACT
