Strategy was to keep Holman on Friday cause he normally throws about 100 pitches per appearance.

This is the exact bullshite I told you not to post. He conceded the game to Hagen Smith, once the game was closer than expected he burnt the majority of the bullpen.

He should have just thrown his stud and kept it to 80 pitches. LSU would probably be in a much better situation right now.

Is this how LSU fans tin foil hats work?

What, are you in middle school? Read your comment out loud to yourself and tell me that’s a mature conversation that has anything to do with this year.

Doesn't Arky coaching staff have a history of overusing pitchers and ruining arms?

LSU pitched:
Javen Coleman (midweek starter started a Thursday game)
Ulloa (2nd SEC appearance, didn't even throw against Florida)
Loer
Little (back of bullpen guy)
Cam Johnson (1st SEC appearance I believe, another mid week guy)
Guidry (threw 15 pitches)
Hellmers (back of bullpen guy)

LSU's best reliever still hasn't pitched in this series

LSU lost game 1 and game 2 because our offense is putrid and the defense has given Arkansas nearly every one of their scoring baserunners via walk or error, followed up by timely hits. It hadn't nothing to do with Johnson keeping his staff on schedule.

Starting pitching decisions didn't cost the team a win in either game.

Late mistakes did as well as Arky making plays when it mattered.

DVH tried his best to ruin Kopps arm against NC St when they had one of the best squads to never reach Omaha.

No? LSU has 3 pitchers in the majors right now. The Hogs have 7.

Then you should fire your coach considering you've already lost the series.

You’re saying you can’t win without saying it. Players aren’t stupid. You can say it’s for another day rest all you want, but everyone knows why it was done. LSU went into the series hoping to win 2 at most. Teams the caliber of LSU shouldn’t do that. It just sends an unintended message they you aren’t good enough

The decision actually worked out though, LSU had a chance to win both games late, they just didn't.

He's never won a series against Arkansas in his career, yet he has more National Championships than Arkansas has ever. Maybe Arkansas should fire their coach.

I agree. Bad strategy and stated that prior to the series. Only response I got was it’s what teams did to LSU last year. No clue if that were true bc we did not do it. Of course our rotation sucked last year. We used TBD for Sundays a lot.
