I am Gunga Din...

World's oldest water boy.

I am old.

I go back to the days of watching "all white" SEC football and guys with nicknames like "Snake", and "Swamp Rat". I remember Spurrier winning the Heisman. I remember listening to LSU games at night on AM radio.

I remember rooting for the Hogs because our Sooners were horrible and one of Arkansas' big stars was from our home town (Lighthorse Harry Jones).

One interesting tidbit...

I am an OU fan...but

I own the jacket that Darrell K. Royal is wearing in Comancheria's avatar. It is from the Notre Dame Cotton Bowl in 1970.

I always had a fascination with DKR growing up because he was both a Sooner and a Longhorn.

Legit cool story. Enjoyed your post. We will give you guys a hard time if you post before joining the conference, but welcome to the SEC

I've been on here for years...and I can't recall any Dewey Warren references, (certainly not from anyone who wasn't a Tennessee fan), until this one .
