I have been following the Cats from childhood from tail end of Rupp’s years to the present. I have never seen the fan base this animated. Forget on line I am talking about people in public talking around the break room to restaurants and bars.
Joe Hall caught hell as did Tubby. But not this bad. May be because they were likeable. BCG caught it at the end but he was nuts. Plus you knew he was going to be canned. A lot of fans thought Sutton was railroaded by The UK President. Maybe not but the fanbase was not against him like I’m seeing now.
If Cal comes back and fails then there may be an open position for AD next year.

Do you think it’s so bad the crowds in Rupp will turn on the coaches (team, too?) if they screw up next year?
