Boy is an idiot. Ask Texas how it’s been since they fired Rick Barnes, etc….

I don’t think people understand how hard it is to do well in basketball year after year. We’ve won more championships than we have in any period of Auburn basketball history. Have made it further in the tourney than any period in Auburn basketball history. This season and Smith-Kessler year were very disappointing in the tournament. The thought of firing Pearl is moronic and anyone thinking that doesn’t remember the absolute basketball doldrums we were in from the end of Ellis to when Pearl got here.

As a purest I don’t expect to be super every year. I do expect to be a good rebounding team, defensively sound, high efficiency in fg% and high bball IQ.
For the most part Pearl does this
Kentucky chose it’s path by going the one and done route
