Was LSU a great football program before Saban came to LSU?

Believe it or not (it’s true though) LSU was in significantly better shape (roster wise) in 2000 when Saban took the job than in 2022 when Kelly took the job.

Kelly been a HC for a very long time and still couldn't win a championship at Notre Dame or at LSU so far.

It’s virtually impossible to win a NC at Notre Dame over the past 30 years. Lou Holtz bolted out if there, because of all the restrictions the administration put on recruiting and transfers his last few seasons there.

Kelly has been here only 2 years in which the job required a major overhaul and rebuilding. He’s doing an amazing job rebuilding the roster. Our O-line recruiting is fantastic. We had issues with D-line coaches, but now have an elite one, so recruiting the D line is off the charts now. Go look at our 2025 class so far, it’s pretty damn good and will even get better.

Everything is more than fine here. Those of us that have an excellent grasp of what’s truly going on are very happy.
