Why did Saban play him if he was doing that in practice? That does not sound like something a 7-time national champion would do.

The only part of the problem--according to Saban in interviews -- that could be attributed to Milroe was simply that he wasn't good at calling the blocking schemes. So, they had the center do it instead.

That may have led to the center not being as concentrated on the snaps, especially against teams with excellent pass rushes. But he also had consistency issues his entire time at Alabama.

Re-read the post and how Ryan Day said Seth had been excellent in practice.
