I thought everybody was cool with this. Player got to get his!! Scholarships just ain't enough anymore. And this is exactly why NIL and the current transfer portal rules are NOT sustainable. No accountability to the player whatsoever.

Honestly if he got his money, that's a good thing.
Players getting the NIL money and not playing for the team that offered it means that teams will be less likely to try to buy players. If they can take the money and transfer back like this, a player essentially can't stay bought.
That's a positive for the sport. Pay for play is the problem, not actual NIL deals for players who've developed their name/image/likeness through performance on the field. The intent was for players to cash in on their fame, not to buy players from other teams.
The more the system screws over those paying the money for players, the less it will happen and the better it will be for the sport. I want to see more schools have their boosters pay and then get shafted when the player transfers. That will help things.
