Not sure if it has been mentioned, but Auburn didn't really have to play any of the other top 3 seeds in the SEC tournament. Yeah, they won the tournament, but MSU upset UT, A&M upset Kentucky, and Florida upset Alabama. AU dominated most of their opponents, but they didn't have to face anyone tough outside of Florida.

frick Auburn, but how is it their fault UK, UTK, and UAT lost?

I thought this year's SECT was going to be a little wild because of so many teams dominating at home but not so much on the road vs. decent opponents.

State and USC are tough teams Auburn beat in the tourney as well. You might want to check a NCAAT bracket and see that those teams got at large bids to the big dance.
