That was big boy basketball.
2 very very good teams. I think Auburn is a final 4 lock. State is absolutely a sweet 16 team and can knock off a 1 seed.
We will see how strong the SEC was this year.

I’m a State fan. AU top 10 in Off/Def Kenpom. Can win with offense in a shootout and can win with tough physical defense. They are made for a deep tourney run.

Not sure I’d call either team a lock for anything but that was two very physical teams going at it. State is a team that high seeds want to avoid due to the physicality, rebounding, and the fact Hubbard could explode any game.

Both teams wanted it & neither was going to back down.
Auburn made more plays & deserved the win. As it should be.
