NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A man wanted out of Nashville was arrested in Utah on two counts of first-degree murder after the poisoning death of his pregnant girlfriend.

Jade Benning died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on March 6, her 25th birthday, Metro Police report. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance the night of Feb 25 after she called 911, saying she appeared to be having an allergic reaction.

Her medical condition became critical and her unborn fetus, which she allegedly shared with suspect Blaise A. Taylor, died on Feb. 27.

Taylor, 27, moved to Utah after the deaths. He is accused of poisoning Benning without her knowing while visiting her Lebanon Pike apartment the night of Feb. 25.

Metro Nashville Police Department has been working with Utah authorities for Taylor's return to Nashville after months of investigating. Taylor was arrested Thursday night.

I’m curious to the details and what killed her. Was it an obvious poison that had to be concocted for that purpose or maybe he gave her food with an ingredient she was highly allergic to and he was unaware?

Not saying he isn’t guilty but we aren’t really provided details that lead me to automatically assume guilt

She was 25. Did he not think they would do an autopsy? I mean...
