Your desire to limit the football player’s NIL earnings blames them for the possible elimination of non-revenue sports.

Look, I think the state we are in now stinks…..and it is not like the players being recruited and their “agents” are paragons of virtue. However, to listen to the coaches/adminstatrors that position themselves on the moral high ground and deign to look down on the unwashed masses and inform them of how things should be done is laughable and disgusting.

Once again, please provide a link where I ever stated that I wanted to limit players’ NIL earnings.

You can’t because I never did.

Schools currently have collectives that are used to get into bidding wars over players. Recruits are asking (demanding in some cases) to be paid JUST TO VISIT a campus.

That is absurd. I can’t help anyone that is unable to comprehend that that environment is not sustainable.

NIL is supposed to be a contract only between a player and whoever wants their name, imagine and/or likeness. The schools are not to be involved at all. But, we all know that that is not how it is being used because there is no kind of enforcement agency to ensure it is used as intended.

But, because too many people here don’t want any kind of governance over the situation (“We just cant go back to the old ways boomer…blah, blah, blah) the future of college sports even remotely existing in a recognizable way is pretty much nonexistent.
