I'm not. There were a bunch of mentally ill psychopaths' and TikTokers baselessly accusing everyone involved of drugging him or bearing some culpability here.

No fricking shite they lawyered up.

Yeah people acting like it’s all his friends fault must not remember what it was like drinking in college when everyone in the group was hammered. People would just wander off on their own like it was nothing and we would think nothing of it

I'm not saying I think they were at fault or anything, just that I don't think the story is fully concluded until that all plays out.

I don't think that's why they lawyered up at all. They lawyered up for 2 main reasons: 1. there's a slight chance this could take a criminal turn or that a civil action will be taken against them (with anything high profile and involving the parents of college students expect a thorough investigation and authorities to suddenly find things to do that they'd never do otherwise - one example from this case already is that TABC is investigating whether Strain was overserved). 2. they were young men wilding in Nashville - do you really think they want every bit of what happened on record and exposed to the public? Lawyers protect you from making stupid statements that wind up in the public record just as well as they do from statements that can be used against you in criminal or civil prosecution.
