Were these accidental deaths? Or did they have some help? Rivers are pretty popular places to dump bodies.

Nashville had more than 100 murders last year for the third year in a row.

People aren’t accidentally falling in the river in Nashville and drowning every three days on average. But they are being murdered at that rate. And that is the ones we know about. That doesn’t include those that are on the fringes of society who aren’t missed. I bet some of those end up in the river too. But not accidentally.

There is a reason it is a horrible idea to get drunk and go walking around at night in metro areas alone. Even more so in areas you aren’t familiar with. It isn’t a river that is going to get you.

In a lot, probably most, southern metro areas you only have to get a few blocks from a lot of really popular tourist areas to find some pretty sketchy areas.
