I'd argue Saban was never in a position where he had no QB. Certainly nothing like LSU faced this season. 2004 featured a 5th year QB in Marcus Randall and 2 talented RS freshman (who would go on to play in the NFL.) Sure, Randall had little experience, but like Flynn had been in the system forever. And I'd argue that Russell and Flynn as raw backups were much better than Lee and Jefferson at this point.

I agree with this, but he will win with defense.

It'll be old school football like it was this season. Run, run, pass, punt, and play defense.

+1

Saban-ball, similar to Tressel ball but more effective against elite teams.

mike has returned in all his glory

this guy has been on this board as long as I have. When LSU started winning, he disappeared. Now that they finish, he's back. Miraculous.

Just wait until Bama has a QB with NOOOOOO experience

I agree with that.
I think next year we will have our defense back and we will be a better team, esp. with RS

Saban maybe just good at what he does and not lucky. But LSU has tooooo much talent to go in the tank! Your dreaming lil man if you think the Tigers are going down. Les will get things in order!
