Some school is going to have a marketing genius deploy some sort of loyalty/rewards program for NIL donors. It's gotta be things that don't cost significant amounts of money, but there's so much that could be done.

For example, ticket priority, maybe you get access to free/discountes tickets for games that arent sold out within a few hours prior to start.

Insider news access - special releases sent to a certain tier of contributor. Maybe offer the ability to send in a question to be answered at the press conference.

Leave certain things up to a fan vote that NIL donors have access to. Relatively small things e.g. what color will the end zones be this year.

Mostly just meaningless things but make people feel like they’re involved in the program.

Once you have your donors all with apps on their phones, keeping track of their benefits, you now have direct access to funding drives. Big recruiting battle and we’re short on cash? Send out a notification - make donations over the next few hours worth double points. You would instantly know how much $ you’re working with

I can promise you it won't be our school. Our AD is to busy crying about NIL instead of being proactive.

The premise is a genius move as donor fatigue is real and its going to hit quickly. You can't keep going to the well for buyouts, builds, and bodies and expect them to keep throwing in cash. Then along with that pay for their suites and everything else.

We are going to have to be smart on getting the average joe invested. That's the way you put it over the top. The way the average joe stays involved is buy getting free stuff and feeling connected to the program even with their small donation.

Maybe we could sell raffle tickets? Or host a carwash?
