OK, so generally speaking, you'd probably say that a team who "routinely" plays for *championships is better than a team who routinely plays for nacho cheese buffets?

Yeah.

And you’d generally say you are overrated if you’re blowing out your conference year in and year out and then getting literally bent over and raped in every big game against the best teams in the post season? Is that fair to say?

Poor guy is melting so hard he's trying to count wins against Big 8 teams as victories over SEC teams

It's ... getting pretty grim for him in here.

We're 26-20-3 against SoftEC teams, but nice try.

Aw. I'm sure that would be nice. But again, it's not the case:

You can celebrate the 1930s, though. You had a perfect record against the SEC that decade.

That's pretty good, right?

1-0 versus Vandy.

Only have a winning record against Vandy and Kentucky.

I mean, I can celebrate a lot more recently than you...if we're playing that game.

Oops, you accidentally listed a bunch of victories that were not against SEC teams.

The data are the data. Those are SoftEC teams, and there's no way out of that.

I agree, the data are the data.

5-14-1 all-time.

You have a winning record against 5 of 16 current SEC teams.

You seem to have made that same little mistake again. I wish I could help make that true for you. Like a time machine so I could encourage OSU to schedule Sewanee and Tulane in the 40s.

But reality is reality.

The data are the data. 5-14-1

No, unfortunately that's incorrect.

Here's a link that will show you the specific records against SEC teams that OSU played:

LINK

Maybe you were thinking of the ACC? That could be it, you've done well against them:

LINK

But against the SEC, not so much. Just 5-14-1, unfortunately.

You can click those links to see all of the data. Good luck!

Unfortunately what you posted is not correct. You included a lot of non-SEC victories and accidentally counted them as SEC victories.

Your team is 5-14-1, and while I wish I could help you through this pain - to somehow help you let go - "the data are the data."

LINK

Maybe that will change going forward, though. Hope springs eternal!
