Maybe so, but this is based on what precedent? Are you going to ignore many failed attempts of mutiny to point out some stupid contraction extension while the admin was apparently drunk and under a spell.
All right jang, I admit the entire AU program has been in a spiral for years. But to see some of your folks try to place projections of 8-4 seasons on Alabama when for a myriad of reasons your own program couldn’t muster the same for years now is comical.

Hasn’t Auburn had 7 losses for three years in a row?

You know Bama isn't going win 11 games every year right? The decline is unfolding. I have always considered Bama a high floor job so I'd expect 8-4 closer to the bottom. Bama would have to be spiraling to go below 8-4 and if they do I believe Bama will abort.

Meanwhile Auburn isn't a high floor job. Our floor is legitimately somewhere around 6 and even that floor has been under pressure. So an 8 win achievement would be the first of many needed graduating triumphs before we are tea bagging Bama again. Trajectory matters. Some of what Saban talked about: "the process" and all. There is logic behind about it.
