Who is your favorite tv dad?

He reached far as he could to wave his lamp. But with his fingers caught in the coupling, he couldn't wave widely enough. The engine backed up to lock another load. He lost the outer three fingers of his left hand at the first knuckle.
The railroad laid him off, being he couldn't do the job. He had three kids and needed work. It wasn't oil rigs or switch levers, but through curiosity and steel-headedness, he learned to fix TVs.
He was my mother's dad. It wasn't his real name, but because my cousin had an impediment, we called him Papaw Walrus. Now showing on Tubi.
