How many less shots will Clark have taken than Pete to break his former record? Pete probably shot twice as many shots as Clark.

Pete didn’t have three point line. Lots of his shots were 25 footers. He was never on a very good team at LSU.

I don't know. Pete played without a shot clock or a three point line, and couldn't play varsity as a freshman under the rules at the time. Oh, and he played against guys. You can argue that Clark also plays against guys, and I wouldn't disagree, but they're not as athletic as the guys Pete played against.

clark's % is 46.6 and Pete's was 43.8.
Almost half of clark's made baskets were 3's. Just imagine is one third of Pete's made baskets were 3's.
Oh and then Pete did in 3 years averaging over 44 points a game. That record will probably never be touched.
