Last fall the consensus was that Alabama was done. The Bama decline was in full effect (despite winning the SEC and making the playoffs). Saban was washed up, but was going to toil in Tuscaloosa as the Capstone crumbled. The only hope for Alabama was a coaching overhaul.
Saban retires, Alabama brings in one of the hottest young coaches in the country, and he overhauls the Alabama staff.
The new group consensus is that Alabama is done because they have a new coaching staff.

One thing never changes, our SEC brethren hoping and praying for the demise of the Crimson Tide. That's just the way we like it.
