Might sound dumb, but a school opting out of this game could negatively impact recruiting.

Bold, bold decision over what amounts to a couple hundred bucks a month or less.

I’ll rebuttal that it depends on Gen Z I guess bc they never had the game before. I always liked Madden over NCAA, bc on the old NCAA game, you could just run hail mary’s, and were guaranteed to hit one out of every 3 tries. Just became a game of who got one or 2 stops to win, at least in my experience.

Have to agree with Tusc on this one. Seems like free marketing, but the schools do have some leverage to hold out for a bit of cash.

It would be idiotic. The game is free advertising for both schools and athletes.
