Whats so funny bro? I guess one cant have a discussion on the interwebs without trying to be smug and make someone look stupid.

Northport a long time ago should have laid out the red carpet for the equipment yard to move. I know the situation and know that Northport has only given the owners grief over the years. That would 1) improve the aesthetics of downtown tremendously and 2) added area for expansion and parking

I'm not trying to be smug, it just isn't room in downtown northport, i don't think. Unless downtown northport is a different area that i'm thinking. is downtown northport where city cafe is?

Well downtown Northport is literally where I live. It cant be expanded as it is now because more than half of the land is being taken up by an excavating company and a mostly inactive equipment yard next to the train tracks. It really is an inconvenient place for the owners of the businesses and property because its just difficult to get dump trucks and heavy equipment in and out of there. They actually do a tremendous service to the city by allowing people to park on their property free of charge for City Cafe and the adjoining shops.

These places would consider moving if cost of moving was outweighed by incentives to. Right now that isnt the case
