Bruce owes Auburn and he knows it. They gave him a job when no other program would touch him. He has ingratiated himself into the O&B fabric and he's the best thing to have happened to the Auburn brand in the last 25 yrs. Auburn takes care of him, and his son is rumored to be head-coach-in-waiting. He'd be a fool to jet off to a rebuild job at his age.

This is pretty much it. I'd be shocked if he didn't retire at Auburn. We gave him a second life that he's really taken advantage of. He loves the school and the community. Typically, coaches are hired guns that will move on to the next best thing, but this situation is pretty unique.
He's also going to be 64 next month. I think he'll coach for maybe 4 or 5 more years and hang it up. I don't think we'll see as many coaches go until they're 70+ anymore. They're making more money than ever and I think those that have been grinding for years are starting to understand they have only so much time to enjoy their life away from the game.
