The NFL Hall of Fame is one of the few who (for the most part) aren't letting just anyone in.

Exceptional players either wait 10+ years or end up as old-timer nominees.

I wouldn't think he's a HOF player on the surface but he did average 4.6 YPC.

Taylor would be on the weaker end of inductees if he gets in, but he wouldn't be an insane pick. I wouldn't argue against it.

Most of them are at least first team all-pro or multiple second team all-pros. He was only a second team all-pro with no SB ring. What really hurts him is he only has one Pro-Bowl selection.
