OJ was charged, brought to trial, and found not guilty. That is a tad different than finding him innocent. And volumes have been written about how badly the district attorneys office and LAPD bungled that case. He most definitely was not found “innocent” in the civil trial.

Darius Miles was charged as well. He has been sitting in a cell since then. But since he hasn’t had a trial yet and been found guilty nor pled guilty, he is still innocent. He filed for a dismissal and that was denied last year. He has another bond hearing this Thursday. They may finally schedule a trial date then.

Like it or not, that is just the way our legal system works.

It's a very good thing and that's why it was setup that way. Of course your typical rant/OT'er redneck doesn't understand why.

If Miles was better at making a round ball go through a hoop he might not be sitting in a cell.

If you think talent doesn't get you out of legal trouble than you haven't followed sports for long.

If Brandon Miller was an LSU athlete this board would have lost it's collective mind moreso than what it did (which says a lot). There wouldn't be a single LSU basketball ball thread without it being brought up. But Bama fans repeatedly brush it under the rug and excuse his actions and their coach's.
