OJ was charged, brought to trial, and found not guilty. That is a tad different than finding him innocent. And volumes have been written about how badly the district attorneys office and LAPD bungled that case. He most definitely was not found “innocent” in the civil trial.

Darius Miles was charged as well. He has been sitting in a cell since then. But since he hasn’t had a trial yet and been found guilty nor pled guilty, he is still innocent. He filed for a dismissal and that was denied last year. He has another bond hearing this Thursday. They may finally schedule a trial date then.

Like it or not, that is just the way our legal system works.
