If the player was not charged with any crime that would make sense. It would make sense to try to figure out what happened before kicking him off the team. But Holly is charged with attempted murder, so authorities have made their decision. They feel they have enough evidence to charge him.

You do realize that the Alabama player that was charged was immediately kicked off the team and kicked out of school don’t you? Based on your comparison, it seems like you might not realize that.
