That is a valid point but all those teams are better than G5 teams. While Ohio State and to a lesser degree Michigan will always be the big money games, the hope is the teams in the upper half of the standings will generate more value if their teams are in the playoff hunt.

If we can eventually leave behind the rest of college football then both of our leagues will generate much larger incomes.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with your argument, but most years the SEC is already such a meat grinder it would be a disadvantage for the SEC to go to 9 games.

frick Ohio State. Not sure why you are complaining. They will be in the playoffs every year. 12 teams isn’t going to matter to Ohio state, Michigan, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Texas, and probably Oregon, and Notre Dame. And maybe Auburn (they are manic depressive)
