Got the series win after dropping game two yesterday. Lots of smack talk all weekend, had an ejection today, great rivalry series.

UCF making us look like bitches, they continue to dominate. Down 7-3, start of the 5th.

This team definitely won’t have the come from behind wins like we had last year, just don’t have that killer instinct.
Drop another one 9-6, keep waiting for this team to figure it out.

Hitting is OK, pitching sucks.

More of the same tonight, gave up 11 to St. Mary’s on a Friday night, Neely gave up 3 in the 9th to let them tie it up, had to rely on a walk off 3 run homer to win it.
Gotta get the pitching figured out quickly.

Pitching is an absolute liability right now. Our “closer” gave up 5 earned runs in 3 innings last night, and here we are today giving up 6 runs through 5 innings.

Falling behind in counts and walks are killing us. Need to work ahead, even if it means pitching backwards to keep hitters off balance.

Yep, giving up 20 runs in 2 games of a weekend series is concerning. Took the L today, gotta hope to win the series tomorrow.

Cags came in and threw a shutout, his pitching has been way better this year, probably the only bright spot on the pitching staff.

Man we needed this game today. Got FSU and A&M this week and both are undefeated.

Then LSU and FSU again , we'll definitely start to see what this team's made of. FSU has scored a lot of runs, our pitching staff better be on their A game tomorrow or it could get ugly.

Big 2 week stretch starts this afternoon, we'll either be riding high or crying in our Cheerios heading back to Gainesville next Tuesday evening.

Freshman pitching (and 1 error) strikes again, gave up 3 in the top of the 2nd. Got some work to do now.

Top of the 6th, down 10-5, on our 6th pitcher. 4 freshman have pitched, 2 juniors.
If we don’t have some of the freshmen step up we may end up right around .500 after we face FSU again 2 Tuesdays from now.

Sticking with the 1 pitcher per inning model I guess. 5/8 pitchers have been freshman, top of the 8th.

Neely comes in and finally does what he's capable of, shuts them down. Bottom of the ninth, need a miracle, down 12-6.
And we stuck with the 1 pitcher/inning all game, used 9 pitchers in 9 innings....so far.

Evan’s tried all he could to make it interesting with the 2 run inside the park homer but it wasn’t enough, Gators lose 12-8

Got a big series win against the Aggies, and gave them their first 2 losses of the season. Pitching stepped it up just enough this weekend to get the W.

Yep, McNellie was huge at the end. He had really struggled so far this season.
