Dude it ain't easy getting in UCLA if you are caucasian American (no racism intended). Plane loads of 16 year old Japanese students and their parents are bussed in for tours every year as it is the aspirational college for all the students in the nation of Japan.
It is high level competition to get in.
It isn't like Kentucky where you get a genuine store bought degree!

Stupid comment. It is more what you major in, what you do with it and how you conduct yourself than where you went. A degree in gender studies is damn near worthless regardless of what University you graduated.
