That's a bit much. They can both be good coaches.

I think if Florida would wake the hell up and give him a chance he would make them relevant again, and possibly dangerous with the fertile recruiting grounds down there. I think he'd be a great fit, and the next Spurrier personality they've been missing.

I will admit though I think DeBear ceiling is much higher, and if he will actually stay at Bama then it would seem Bama made the perfect hire that will seamlessly keep the machine moving forward.

The only problem is with his reputation becoming that of an "offensive innovator" it's not going to be long at all before his name starts being associated with every NFL job that opens annually. I wouldn't be surprised if it starts next season. He's going to win big at Bama.
